Our journey, our commitment

Discover the story of R Johnstone & Sons Agri/Plant Contractors, a family business dedicated to quality and community. We're proud to serve Dumfriesshire and beyond.

Our family story

R J Agri Services began its journey in 2012 when Rab started the business doing relief milking at local farms and some drainage work with his JCB JS130 Digger. He worked diligently, serving local farmers and customers in the Local area. His dedication and hard work laid the foundation for what was to come. In 2025, Rab proudly welcomed his two sons, Ryan and Lee, into partnership, transforming the business into the family-run enterprise it is today. R Johnstone & Sons Agri/Plant Contractors was born. This partnership brought new energy and expertise, strengthening our commitment to the community we serve.
